By law you are allowed to look at your credit report from all three agencies once a year for free. Go to annualcreditreport.com to see yours. However, this doesn’t include your credit score, you have to pay for that. Theoretically, yeah, you should be able to see it whenever but it doesn’t work that way.

The credit bureaus are three separate companies that collect date from various sources. You need to get a separate report from each one. Not all creditors report to all three credit bureaus. An error on one, may not appear on the others.

Theres sites where you can get your scores from all 3 credit bureaus. Yes it totally sucks that we have to pay to actually see our scores, but thats how thay make there money.
