How soon does employment show up on you credit report?

a new day asked:

If I got a job 3 months ago, would it already be listed on my credit report as a current employer?

Such information is typically updated by creditors when you apply for new credit. Your employer does not report information to credit bureaus.

Not sure…could be 3 months or so…FYI: this notation is for information purposes only. Your income/job status is not a factor in calculating your credit score.

I have been working at my current job for 5 years now and it’s not listed on any of my credit reports, but my job before this that I was at for 3 years is the only employer listed ever and I am 26 and have had at least 4 other jobs and none were ever listed…..I believe if it doesn’t show you must request it…..But if your employer did report it — it should be listed already

Your employer will only show up on your credit file if a creditor reports it from a credit application. Employment isn’t a factor in your credit report or score.
