Forget about calling, go to each bureaus website and perform a dispute online. Be prepared to wait for at least thirty days, and be prepared if they send results saying the charges were “verified as accurate.” If these happens, perform another dispute with more threatening language. If the charges still aren’t deleted, do another, more angry dispute. Keep going until the charges are deleted.

Also, at the same time, contact the college and try to get something in writing saying they made a mistake, and that they will remove the negative charge. Send this letter to all three bureaus and it will be deleted.

It can be tough, but stay persistent, and it will work out!
