How can I have my employment appear on my credit report?
omg00dness asked:
For whatever reason, my employment isn’t on my credit report. Is there any reason why? Should I add it on there? How can I add it?

You add it by sending a letter to the credit bureaus. Some bureaus allow you to update the information on your report online. But I suggest just writing them, giving them all your information to verify you are who you say you are and ask that they update your personal identifying information on your credit reports.

Credit reports are a history of your ability to pay your debts. Employment has no factor in scoring. They may show an old employer or none at all. You will have to contact them and report your place of employment, it will then be shown on your report.
I am retired but 2 of the three are wrong, one still lists a job I held 23 years ago, The personal history section has no bearing on ones score nor does a lender take it into consideration. They know most CRA’s are incorrect and after all, when you apply for credit you are required to list your current place of employment.
I wouldn’t loose any sleep over it.
Hope this helps answer your question
