A lot of times you can get the report but you have to pay a few bucks to see your score. If you really want to get away with seeing your credit report for free, call up a mortgage company and apply for a loan and act like you're buying a place and you want to get prequalified. They'll pull your credit and give you the report. It's a little dishonest to do that, but not illegal or anything. i didn’t subscribe to anything when i did mine.
