melissa w asked:
Every website Ive been to, is saying there free but want my card info. I dont want to be charged after 30 days or better yet not give out any payment info. I want a free credit report. Does anyone know if there is such a thing?

Annual Credit Report.com (without the spaces).
You can get a free report from each of the three agencies once a year. You can do all at once, or one every four months (one at a time). You’ll only have to pay if you want your FICO score.

Yes there you can get your credit report for free. Understand the difference between credit report and credit score. You have to pay to know your score.

That’s where you get the one free credit report per year that the law requires you to be able to get.
You will NOT get your scores for free though. Those you still have to pay for.
If you know any mortgage brokers though, they can probably pull your report for 1/3 the cost of buying it yourself.

I have had the exact same problem. I finally found Expedia where you could mail them a request for a free credit report. That was three months ago- I am thinking they are not going to reply.
