CREDIT QUESTION. How can one credit report delete a negative account and another leave the same account on?

I have wondered the same myself! I would suggest that you make a copy of the letters that the other 2 sent to you showing the item was deleted and ask the 3rd to do the same. What harm can it do? At the very least, they can provide you with the validation that the debt is accurate. Yoiu have that right… Good luck!

The answer is this. Experian, Transunion, and Equifax are seperate companies. They operate differently from each other. I’m willing to bet that Equifax was the one that you were having trouble with. From personal experience, Equifax and sometimes Experian are bad about resolving disputed. Sometimes, it can take a 2nd or even a 3rd dispute in order to get the item removed.
