The best way to see your credit report is to contact one of the main three credit reference agencies; Experian, Equifax or Call Credit. Sign up to one of their 30 day free trials and cancel the subscription a couple of days later to avoid paying their monthly fee’s.

AnnualCreditReport.com is the site mandated by the FTC to allow online access to your free annual credit reports for all three credit bureaus. It is the only site that won’t require you to sign up for credit monitoring. The reports are free but the score is not.
Equifax sells FICO scores for about $8. Don’t bother buying scores from Experian or TransUnion. They will be Vantage (different scale).

is the only site that is free. When you get your reports, it is possible as you go to each of the credit reporting agencies that you may be offered additional products or services. You may decline and continue without charge.

Americans are entitled to one free credit report within a 12-month period from each of the three credit bureaus but are not entitled to receive a free credit score. The three credit bureaus run, where users can get their free credit reports. Credit scores are available as an add-on feature of the report for a fee.
