What information do I supply when requesting a free credit report?

   Matthew

   This is the TOTALLY FREE government mandated site where you can get your credit reports for free

   It will ask for your personal information including social security number, name, address, etc. and will have some trick questions to verify your identity (e.g. which of these 3 companies do you have a mortgage with)

   Once you’ve filled up the information, you can get it instantly

   I would strongly suggest you only use your bank to provide you with the necessary report. Besides, they have all your information in order to have one processed. Identity theft is a growing problem, so any safeguards you can take, it is only a wise thing.
