At the time you settled the items, you could have requested delete for payment as part of the settlement. It’s too late for that now. You could try disputing the items with the credit bureau. Maybe the creditor won’t verify the item to the credit bureau and it will be removed. But don’t count on that working.

They CAN remove it if they decide to. They are not obligated to because at the time it was a past due account and they will change the status to paid in full but it still went to a negative status at one point. If you do get them to agree to remove it, make sure you get it in writing. You should have tried to negotiate before you paid it in full that the only way you would pay is if they DELETED the account completely from your credit profile.

You CANNOT have any bad credit removed upon request or settlements. The Fair Credit Reporting Act states that the only way bad credit can be cleared is after 7 years.

NO it can not be REMOVED. It can legally reamin on your credit report for 7-10 years. If the debit is settled, then that can be reflected on your credit report!
