engler710 asked: I want to pay off my credit report at tax time.I have gotten whats on my report and basicallly gotten my score, they say they cant give me one at this time meaning I prolly dont have one. All I have is med. bills and utility bills on mine. I have never had a loan to even give me anything positive on my report. So if I pay off my $2500, will I ever get a good credit score. I pay my bills I have now on time.

Mark F asked: I have a couple of things on my credit report that are coming up as negatives but i have paid them off already. They come up on the report saying that they have been paid in full. Can they be removed so as not too hurt me any longer? I dont understand why they are still there if they are paid off. Any information on how to have these removed would really be appreciated.

Phish asked: I bought a new car a few months ago but got the loan from the dealer. I just checked my credit and there’s more than 10 inquires from different credit or loan companies on my report all within a day or two of when I got my car. I’m thinking the dealership shopped it around but I was unaware so I don’t think I should take the hit for those. Any suggestions?

StewieGriffin4President08 asked: I am one of millions (I think) who have a lot of incorrect info on my credit report… All of the stuff on there is accurate as far as the companies I have done business with but some of the stuff is out of date such as me owing money when an account has actually been paid off completley. Any help in the right direction would be helpful. Thanks.

Brunei asked: I want to rent a commercial property and the landlord is wanting me to call 1-800-852-9212 to “activate my credit report.” Is this legit? I’ve rented places before and the landlord did their own thing with the background check. I never had to activate anything.
I should also mention that this landlord has already requested my SS#, a copy of my driver’s license, and a letter that authorizes him to perform a credit/background check. If he has the info, why does he need me to do it?
